Lone Winter - Childhood II

It's official - Zoe is a college graduate! It was a struggle, but she finally has her distinguished degree in Culinary Arts. Tears are shed as Zoe crosses the stage to receive her diploma. Aurora is clapping hardest of all, proud of her mother for sticking with it. 

With her degree in hand, Zoe is able to immediately get a job as a pastry chef! Her experience working at the small coffee shop really helped with her experience. This is a huge step up in her career, and she is bringing home a fairly high salary. 

With a new salary comes a new home, once that has a separate bedroom for Aurora and even an office! Zoe is able to furnish the home well, even getting a jungle gym for her daughter and her friends. Aurora is very excited to have her own space, and her mother helps her decorate her room with new posters.

 After a few more months of dating, Zoe decides to introduce Erin to Aurora. It goes great! The two hit it off, and Aurora is excited for both her mother and herself having a new friend in their lives. She loves that Erin works as an astronaut and learns a lot about space from her. 

Erin is a frequent visitor at the home, and Zoe finally feels ready for the next step in her relationship with Erin. She asks her to spend the night and they make love for the first time. At least in this relationship, Zoe won't get pregnant unexpectedly!

Aurora is turning out to be a wonderfully bright child! She has great self-confidence and is getting straight As. She's also working hard on outside projects, including her arts. Zoe couldn't be prouder of the girl her daughter is becoming.
