Lone Winter - New Arrivals

 

With things going so well, Zoe brings up the idea of having more children to Erin. While initially very surprised, she quickly agrees - she'd love to expand their family! With her latest promotion at work and Zoe quickly finishing her second degree in Fine Arts, they have nothing to worry about financially. 

Zoe brings up the idea with Aurora as well, and she is on board to have some new siblings! She appreciates being included in the discussion before her mother goes off for artificial insemination. Erin and Aurora wait for her return anxiously, hoping it took.

On the first attempt, Zoe is expecting! She is struggling with pregnancy symptoms more than her first time, her body not agreeing with the changes as easily. However, she is still very excited to bring a new child into this world. She brushes up on her pregnancy and parenting books.

Zoe is worried about some of her symptoms and the weight she's gained in the second trimester. At a checkup, she learns why this pregnancy has been so tough - she's carrying twins! After a brief panic, Zoe and Erin feel prepared for bringing two little ones into the world and get more excited than ever. 

Here we go again! Unfortunately, Zoe goes into labor while Erin is on a space mission, meaning she is alone while delivering her babies. While she feels more prepared this time, the labor is much more intense given her older body and having to do it for two babies! 

She's exhausted, but it all pays off. Zoe gives birth to two healthy girls, older twin Bella (R) and younger twin Beth (L). Once Erin returns from space, the couple takes the new arrivals home to settle in. Aurora is excited to meet her two sisters, although she is confused at how all they do is cry!
