Lone Winter - The Rebellion I

Our story begins with the Winters family. They just moved to their new mansion in Oasis Springs. Christina and Hank can provide for their family thanks to the boom in their tech company. Their daughter, had while they were still in high school, is now a teen herself. They have great aspirations for her and hope she avoids their own youthful follies. Their toddler, Christopher, is the light of their life and the golden child in the home.

Zoe is a member of the chess team and an honors student at her prestigious school. She worked hard to excel in her studies and is on track to be valedictorian. However, she feels like something is missing in her life. She doesn't have any friends, and her parents are too strict to allow her to go to parties or concerts. Zoe decides to branch out and make some friends at school to add more meaning to her days.

Zoe starts spending more time with her class and teammates. She tells her parents she is spending more time at Chess Club while instead going to amusement parks and beaches with her new friends. While being more social, she develops her first crush on Jeb, a quirky teen far removed from her rich lifestyle. He attends her school on a scholarship and works on his parents' farm.

Zoe and Jeb start spending a lot of time together, quickly growing close. Despite her parents' rule against them, she decides to pursue a romantic relationship for the first time. They share their first kiss at the Spice Festival in the city, far away from Zoe's overbearing parents and golden brother. Zoe finally feels a sense of freedom and happiness with her private relationship. They decide not to make anything official, however, and vow to just have fun with each other.

It doesn't take long for the relationship between Zoe and Jeb to progress. While her parents are out with Christopher, Jeb comes over and Zoe decides to take the next step with her friend. She is excited to learn something new and explore something expressly forbidden by her parents. She not sure about the actual act of sex, but she loves the thrill she gets from it.

Too concerned with keeping Zoe from having sex at all, her parents failed to teach her any sort of sex education. This lack of sex education means Zoe was unprepared for the consequences of unprotected sex. After enjoying physical intimacy with Jeb for several months, she falls pregnant. She keeps the information a secret as she prepares to navigate her new life.
